I'll be taking on a 5k in about a month and a half here on April 26, 2014. It's sponsored by the March of Dimes and my registration will be going towards my donation for that (http://www.marchofdimes.com/colorado/events/10300_3135303731.html). For those who do not know, Cayden was born prematurely and spent some time in the NICU due to jaundice and a uterine infection. The March of Dimes was a large help to us at that time.

I'm also going to be taking pledges to raise money towards Infertility Awareness. All donations will be sent to Resolve (http://www.resolve.org). April 20-26, 2014 is National Infertility Awareness Week.

As many of you know, I've faced some challenges in being able to give Cayden a brother or a sister. It is hard emotionally, financially and physically. I have stage 3 Endometriosis which is a tremendous hurdle to get over. There is not a lot of research being done on this disease even though millions of women in the U.S. have it. There is no cure for it. Resolve provides support groups and a community to help improve the lives of those who live with infertility.
